4-star boutique hotel in a Grade II listed former political club in Leeds city centre

Historic Building & Design

Quebecs occupies a Grade II listed Victorian building that originally housed the Leeds and County Liberal Club. Handcrafted wood panelling, stained glass windows, and cosy open fires remain from the original 19th-century design. A blue plaque on the frontage marks the building's history as a former private social club.

Rooms & In-Room Comforts

Each room includes premium bedding, air conditioning, and satellite TV, with bathrooms stocked with L'Occitane toiletries and fluffy bathrobes. Some suites feature split-level layouts with a bed upstairs and sofas downstairs. The hotel is independently owned and focuses on personalised guest experiences, including complimentary upgrades when available.

Location & Transport Links

The hotel sits 300 metres from Leeds Railway Station on a quiet street off City Square. The Victoria Quarter shopping district and Royal Armouries Museum are within a 20-minute walk. Leeds Bradford International Airport is 30 minutes away by car, and the hotel offers on-site private parking (first come, first served).

Dining & On-Site Bar

Guests can order room service from a menu that includes smoked salmon and cream cheese triple sandwiches. Breakfast is served in the Conservatory and includes a full English cooked to order. The Porter's Lodge bar is open until late evening and displays a hall of fame photo section of celebrities who have stayed.

Wellness & Business Services

All guests receive complimentary access to a local health club and spa, which includes a gym, pool, and treatment rooms. The hotel provides 24-hour reception, luggage storage, and express check-in/check-out for business travellers. Meeting and banquet facilities are available, along with fax and photocopying services.

Really good Stay!

great location spacious room attentive service
The hotel stands near the train station. This made getting around super easy. My Executive Double Room was spacious. It featured excellent amenities. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh options. I enjoyed the attentive service.
I faced a slight delay at check-in. A system issue briefly held things up. It was resolved fairly quickly though! I appreciate the staff working to fix it.
